What's the matter with the Boy?

Hmm.

Today was pretty much a blur of activity.. and the highlight was arguably witnessing Amanda and her classmates playing basketball while I was doing some photoshop work on my laptop (yes, I have finally managed to get a laptop, after much prying and prodding on my behalf against my parents).

I have to say I have not seen anything quite as amusing as three novice basketball players play alongside one relatively experienced basketball player (no, not me, but another of Amanda's classmates). For one... it was just plain cute.

I will not go into details about this whole tenure, considering the fact that I have already commited a grave error of laughing out loud when they were playing, and I'm thinking they would have been in a murderous mood (or butt-kicking mood, daresay I?).

Honestly, I'm not much of a basketball player myself, so I guess I have no right to laugh at them (I'm terribly sorry.. ehehe) and I was for the initial bit very much pre-occupied with my work to take much notice regarding whatever that they were doing.

That said, I have to say that I admire the comraderie those girls had amongst themselves, when they cheered themselves on and gave each other lots of encouragement. That is something you don't see often with a group of people, and it sure is sorely lacking in where I am right now.

Thing is, I'm going to Penang early in the morning tomorrow, and I'm supposed to be accompanying my dad for some business thing. Basically he's spending good money for me to just go there and carry anything he needs me to carry and for me to lend a muscle when required.

I might as well act deaf and dumb and you won't know what to expect of me, because that would be my job scope: be dumb and just do what is required of me, oh and of course refer to my dad as 'Mr Wong'

What fucking nonsense.

I'd rather spend my time constructively in Singapore, where I can lend a hand to the very people who need my help more constructively, and doing things which make me feel more satisfied, and self-fulfilling.

Cheers,
