Fun With Chris...
Hmm.
Chris came to my place today, and guess wat... he was late. Not exactly his fault, and I managed to pass the time by getting myself a mag to read (actually it cost me 6 bucks and 90 cents, only for Chris to tell me when he saw it, that his pal got it for free. DOT.) while I waited for Chris to reach Potong Pasir MRT station. As I had ridden my bike to the MRT station, I had to push it back home as i walked with Chrs, with him carrying his bass.
After a while, I suggested that he push my bike (which is easier, since it has wheels, unlike bass guitars), while I carry his bass for him. Accepting this suggestion willingly, he soon startd grumbling about looking like an Ah Peh when Cedar Secondary school girls started to pass by us, as I live near the school, and it was like an early day for them (I suppose). So taking digs at each other we finally reached my place.
Settling down, I started teaching Chris how to play the Fuzzy Green Grass's songs, although I branched out to include one or two of my own songs, and Chris wanted me to try some gosel songs of his. In the process, I also let him hear some of our previous songs recorded down (though non too professional at times).
We had loads of fun shooting at each other (photos, mind you), crapping around (verbally, mind you), smsing Alvin and Char to find a good day to practise next week etc etc.
Sigh... that library book which I ddn't borrow cost me about 88 bucks in reimbursment to the library. Manx.... there goes my end-of-year treat for myself (a better discman).
Ah.. Well.. at least Chris and Myself managed to record the 'United States Of Whatever' song, with me (surprisingly) on bass, and Chris on vocals.
And it's final... Chris is IN THE FUZZY GREEN GRASS!!!!!! Alvin will be pleased.
Cheers,
Crawldaddy
