Ark Analogy!!!

Hmm.

Allow me to introduce my new band, named Ark Analogy. You must be wondering why the naming of my trio has taken so long. Well one of the reasons is that we were focussing more on the music of the band, rather than the image or even the name. Music is our priority here, anyway.

So, why "Ark Analogy"?

I'm sure all of us have heard or have read about the ancient tale of Noah's Ark. Long and short of it is that God came in a dream to a man named Noah, and God told Noah to build a huge vessel to contain a male and female specimen of every living creature on earth. Noah was supposed to bring his family aboard, and the moment he shut the boat, God caused the heavens to rain so much that the whole world was flooded and everybody except those onboard the Ark perished.

So why the "Ark Analogy" then? Well the whole idea of the term "Ark" is that we want to be the vehicle of musical expression that literally floats above the dead scum that we to disassociate ourselves with. Do note, it's a disassociation, not a dissing of the music that we do not enjoy. Our primary musical direction is old-school rock and roll. Simple, short and sweet with the good ol' guitar solo thrown in for good measure. And the word "Analogy" speaks for itself regarding why the band is named as such. Confused?

Who are in "Ark Analogy"? We have 3 musicians in, including Mervyn (Drums / percussion), Boon (Bass), and myself on guitar and vocals. We hope to have gigs soon, and any notification will be via this blog and msn.

Cheers,

Crawldaddy
