It just Keeps Getting Better And Better VI: Pyramids!!!

Hmm.

OH YEAH BABY!!! Our pyramid eventually managed to attain the top prize!!! OMG I'm so happy for my team and those who also volunteered to help out, and A HUGANTIC thanks to everyone literally from A-Z:

Amanda, Andrea, Banana (sorry, forgot ur name), Cheryl, Dee, Jeremy, Jonathan, Ken, Liesl, Si Ji, Syaf, Wang Shen and of course Zach. Anyone else missed out is something severely regretted.

I was already having a good feeling about our pyramid, although it was significantly shorter than the competition, until Alvin rationalised with me why an addition to boost our height would still be okay... well thanks mate.. it probably was the winning factor on top of the pyramid's superb structural design and fantastic skins. It was also made entire out of paper-based material.

Well it's great to have an achievement under our belts within the first week of school, and although the skins and all were watonly thrown away (it was so huge.. it was two storeys high) we took home a trophy which we made belief to be the UEFA Champions' League Cup, and jumping up and down and kissing the tiny little plaque as though it was a huge silver cup lol.

Ok, it was only Alvin who kissed it, I just did a Marcos impersonation by kneeling down on the floor and raising my forefingers on bent elbows.

It is incredible we won, and I'm glad for my team because their effort did not go to waste, and it was a sure-fire thing for us especially since ours was ENTIRELY made out of paper-based material (even the masking tape was carefully chosen), while the other teams used scotch tape and duct tape and one team just piled cardboard boxes and threw a corrugated cardboard skin on top and secured it with an entire length of scotch tape. Another team constructed a pyramid out of smaller pyramids, while the most desperate team tried to use a two-storey high ladder to perch a 'tip' unto their spray-painted structure, which incidentally, consisted of cardboard boxes stacked one on top of the other.

On the other hand, with my team, we carefulyl designed the structure and planned it out so well.. it was a good team effort and we worked hard, and had fun in the process. As the leader of this team, I am proud to have them on my side and proud of their achievements, and also rather glad that I have led them well and managed to keep the whole thing alive.

Job well dpne, guys and see you soon!

Cheers,

Crawldaddy
